Many patients are referred to physical therapy without a clear diagnosis — and they go through weeks of treatment without significant improvement. At NSC, physical therapy only begins once your condition has been properly evaluated and a neurosurgeon is actively involved in your care.
That distinction matters. Your therapy program is designed around your specific diagnosis — whether that is a herniated disc, nerve compression, post-surgical recovery, or peripheral nerve pain. Our therapists know the difference between these conditions and how to address each one effectively.
Because therapy is coordinated with your provider in the same clinic, your progress is monitored in the context of your overall care. If your condition changes — improves faster than expected, plateaus, or requires a different approach — your care team responds together.
Physical Therapy Appointments Within 5 Days
Once your therapy is ordered, most patients are scheduled within 5 days. Access to care here does not require navigating a separate referral system — it is already part of your NSC care plan.
