Call with your card in hand
We need the member ID and group number from the front of your insurance card. Having it with you keeps this to a short call.
We check your benefits
Our team verifies coverage directly with your plan, including whether your visit needs a referral or prior authorization and where you stand against your deductible.
You hear the number before you come in
We tell you what you can expect to be responsible for at the appointment, so there are no surprises at the front desk.
Paying for your visit
Co-payments and deductibles are collected at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Visa, and MasterCard, and payment plans are available. If you already have a balance, you can pay it securely online.
Common questions about coverage
Do you take my insurance?
We work with many HMO, PPO, and Medicare plans, and the list changes. The fastest answer is a phone call with your card in front of you.
My plan is not listed. Am I out of network?
Not necessarily. Call before assuming you are not covered and we will check while you are on the phone.
What will I pay at the appointment?
Whatever your plan leaves to you, typically a co-payment or an amount toward your deductible, due at the time of service. Call ahead and we will verify the figure so you know before you arrive.
Do I need a referral before booking?
Some plans require one and many do not. This is one of the things we check when we verify your benefits.
Does NSC offer payment plans?
Yes. Ask our team about payment plan options when you call.
